The Challenge

Multiple NSW Government agencies were independently seeking Microsoft Purview support within a single shared tenancy, risking inconsistent, conflicting configurations with no agency-specific isolation. The shared tenancy model required a carefully designed approach - one that could accommodate the unique governance needs of each agency while maintaining consistency, control and scalability across the broader environment.

The Approach

 One51 designed a single-domain, collection-based governance model, and delivered it as a working MVP for the first participating agency in approximately 10 weeks. 

Outcome

An endorsed, repeatable governance model ready to support future agency onboarding. Production scans were completed successfully across all nominated MPV sources, leaving the initial agency with a populated set of governed assets and a practical foundation for ongoing data governance.
